Presenter

ALISON LAXTON Associate Attorney

Ms Laxton currently serves as an associate attorney at SBL Incorporated, having formerly served as the founder and director of her own law firm before joining the SBL team. She has also most notably served as the CEO of a Law School, Legal Officer, and Global Human Resources Manager. Her qualifications include an LLB (cum laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand and a certificate in Debt Counselling (NCR) from the Enterprises University of Pretoria.

She has extensive experience in legal practice, academics, and corporate legal advisory. Her areas of specialty include National Credit Act litigation, intellectual property law, commercial law, and labour law. She is committed to providing superior legal service to her clients and is passionate about imparting her knowledge to aspiring legal professionals. She is best described as a multifaceted individual and enjoys pursuing challenging opportunities that require agility.
