About this internship:The Law Society of South Africa (LSSA) is offering the Technical Vocational Educational and Training (TVET) Internship opportunity that is funded by SASSETA.

This is an 18-month internship program, that is aimed at N6.
Who should apply:

  • South African youth between the ages of 18 to 35.
  • Learners who have an N6 Certificate from a Public TVET college.
  • Learners with disabilities are also encouraged to apply.
  • Learners must comply with legal / regulatory requirements of the programme, where applicable.


General Conditions for Employer and Learner:

  • Learners may not enter into any other learning programme funded by SASSETA in the financial year in which this programme commences. This includes bursaries etcetera.
  • This is the full offer, it is inclusive of all costs provided for SASSETA’s Discretionary Grant Policy version 12, and NO other requests will be considered for this programme
  • Interns that are placed must target occupations identified by DHET as occupations in high demand.


Application requirements:

  • Certified copy of your Identity Document.
  • Certified copies of highest academic qualifications. (N6)


Selection Process:

  • A selection committee will review applications and announce selected learner. The committee’s decisions are final.
  • Applicants may be required to attend interviews.
