🕛 12:00 – 14:30

Gain the practical knowledge and confidence to draft legally valid wills and living wills.

About this Course

A properly drafted will is one of the most important legal documents a person can prepare. It ensures that a person’s wishes are carried out after death, reduces uncertainty for beneficiaries, and minimises the potential for disputes and costly litigation.

This practical online course has been developed to equip legal practitioners and other professionals with the knowledge and skills required to draft legally valid wills and living wills with confidence. Participants will gain an understanding of the legal principles governing succession and learn how to avoid common drafting errors and loopholes that may invalidate a will or create unnecessary complications.

The course also explores the drafting of living wills, the applicable legal requirements, and the procedures for revoking these important documents. Throughout the programme, practical guidance is provided to ensure participants are able to prepare clear, legally compliant and effective testamentary documents.

By taking into account the relevant legislation and practical considerations, this course provides attendees with valuable drafting techniques that can immediately be applied in practice.
