| Purpose of the training
The Law Society of South Africa offers a range of courses in the field of mediation. In our ongoing commitment to providing course attendees with up-to-date, high-quality training, we are looking to expand our team of lecturers. To this end, we will be conducting a training workshop for delegates interested in becoming mediation trainers. We invite interested parties to apply for this training opportunity, which will be provided free of charge. Who should attend? The course will be open, on a pre-selection basis, to practicing mediators and family law practitioners with more than five years of experience. Basis of selection A selection committee will review all applications and notify successful candidates of their acceptance. Due to the nature of the training (face-to-face), only a limited number of applicants can be accommodated. The final number of participants will be determined at the sole discretion of the selection committee. Cancellation by LEAD If you wish to attend this workshop, please submit your application as soon as possible. In the event that the training is cancelled, selected delegates will be given reasonable notice. Instruction: Scan the required documents before completing the Online Application form – this is to simplify the process – also save it under the name of the document e.g., “Comprehensive CV”, “Copy of ID”, “Copy of qualifications”.
