Arbitration 3-Day Course for the Legal Profession

Learn the techniques to develop a reputation for skilled, cost-efficient resolution of client problems

About this course

This course deals specifically with arbitration. Practitioners who have experience of both litigation and settlement negotiation will best benefit from this course.

Whether you wish to practice as a arbitrator or be in a position to advise your clients or represent them at arbitrations, you will benefit greatly from attending the course.

Practitioners need to consider all routes of access to justice in order to best serve their clients. Today there are many alternatives to consider in order to decide which is the appropriate method for use in any given case in order to resolve a dispute. It is in the interest of legal practitioners to familiarise themselves with the process and techniques of arbitration.

The Law Society of South Africa’s (LSSA’s) Legal Education and Development (LEAD) division’s arbitration courses are primarily designed to prepare legal practitioners and candidate legal practitioners to be arbitrators and to advise clients on the arbitration process. Mediation were considered.
