Negotiations | Online Course

To Talk or to Fight

22 October 2026 | 10:00 – 15:00

About this Course

Negotiations take place all the time without anyone realising that they are, in fact, active participants in a negotiation process. These discussions are often casual without the parties seeking to articulate their postures on any erudite principles or strategies.

But often, situations arise that are strained or acrimonious and could impact on relationships or have the potential of legal contestation such as divorce or contractual dilemmas or employment issues.

The objective is to introduce participants to, or strengthen their skills in, negotiation techniques. In this way, participants will be able to enhance their own competency or assist disputants to resolve differences without the burden of lengthy, costly and antagonistic litigation.

Course Content

Negotiations, like any skills, can only be acquired through active learning. Participants will be actively involved in developing or strengthening skills through activities.
