Candidate Attorney Courses

"A just society exists in a constitutional environment where people are equal and have access to the law,
as well as appropriate legal representation. L.E.A.D focuses on contributing to the competence of legal practitioners"
The five-week courses are aimed at preparing candidate attorneys for the admission examination and to supplement the training provided by law firms regarding the knowledge, skills and attitudes required of a competent candidate attorney.
In terms of Section 15(1)(b)(ivA) of the Attorneys Act, 53 of 1979 as amended, an applicant applying for admission as an attorney must supply proof of satisfactory attendance of a course approved by the relevant statutory law society. The full-time, part-time and evening courses presented by L.E.A.D have been approved for the purposes of this Act.
