This workshop is primarily aimed at assisting candidates to prepare for the Conveyancing Examination of 9 May 2012. If you plan to register for this preparatory workshop, please submit your completed response form by e-mail, fax or post by 16:00 on 11 April 2012.

Saturday,  5 May 2012 from 08h30 to 14h00
 
REQUIREMENTS: CANDIDATES MUST BE IN POSSESSION OF THE FOLLOWING:
i. Deeds Registries Act and Regulations (essential)
ii. Alienation of Land Act (essential) 
iii. Relevant sections of other Acts as set out in the 2012 Syllabus (preferably)
iv. Chief Registrar’s Circulars and Conference Resolutions (Butterworth’s loose-leaf binder) recommended
v. The Practitioner’s Guide to Conveyancing and Notarial Practrice 2nd Editions (LSSA/LEAD (recommended) 
vi. Conveyancing Practice Guide – 3rd Edition – J.O. Christie (recommended) 
vii. Transfer Duty Act (essential)   
viii. Sectional Titles Act and Regulations (essential)
ix. Conveyancing study notes by LEAD (recommended)

Please note that, without these documents and publications, you will lack the tools required for effective preparation and you will not derive the full benefit from this workshop.

Each registered participant will be provided with some previous conveyancing exam question papers.

REGISTRATION FEE (VAT INCL.): R385,00 per person.
